The ERP Group History
Our History

The ERP Group is a sister company of Intellect (www.intellectcorp.com). Intellect was founded in January 1998 and The ERP Group was strategically spun out as a standalone company in early 2009.

Intellect was founded as a traditional technology staffing organization. As part of this generalist approach within technology, the Company began to support clients with ERP-specific business needs. From middle market applications such as Great Plains (now Microsoft Dynamics) through enterprise level applications to include SAP, PeopleSoft and Oracle Applications, clients came to rely on Intellect for consultants and direct-hire staffing services in the more difficult ERP space.
Seeing client needs in the market specific to SAP, and seeing those needs not met through traditional local-market technology staffing suppliers, The ERP Group was developed as a boutique practice area focused on SAP.

While some companies may rely on general technology staffing providers to assist with SAP related needs, most generalist firms struggle with supplying these resources. The ERP space is complex; many staffing providers are not able to understand this market and the nuances of the skill areas within the space. Additionally, higher level SAP resources are traditionally more difficult to identify, since the market is typically more candidate driven.

While still a part of the Intellect family of companies, the SAP consulting and staffing services of The ERP Group were spun off so that the Company's brand and services could be developed as a standalone service in the SAP market. The staffing community is crowded, yet few premier service providers exist that can be consistently relied upon in the SAP niche. Clients are especially challenged with identifying a quality human capital service provider that is focused on higher end SAP-specific resources.

For these vital yet hard to find SAP resources, The ERP Group is the optimal service partner.
